Support

Let’s get you
back to the circle.

Setup guidance, clear answers and a real contact for Flight43.

Contact support

Email hello@pitchcall.app with “Flight43” in the subject. Include your iPhone model, iOS version, app version and the step where the issue occurred.

For camera issues, include the selected format, frame rate, shutter and ISO. For radar issues, include the model and whether the companion app started a session. Attach a screenshot or recording only if you want to share it and have permission from the people shown.

We do not need your Apple password, payment card number or Apple verification codes.

Common questions

Do I need a radar?

No. Recording and analysis work with the camera alone. Radar is optional and off by default. To add compatible Bluetooth radar readings, enable Use radar (optional) in Setup → Advanced settings, then choose Start listening.

When can I download Flight43?

Flight43 is in development. There is no public App Store download link yet. Email hello@pitchcall.app for availability.

How does the 50-pitch offer work?

The planned launch offer includes the first 50 successfully analyzed pitches free, followed by a subscription for continued analysis. Rejected or failed analyses will not use the allowance. It is a one-time starting allowance, not 50 pitches each month. Billing and allowance enforcement are being implemented in a separate app change.

What will the subscription cost?

Launch prices have not been finalized. The App Store will show the plan, billing period and price before you purchase. There is no paid purchase flow in the current development build.

Does every iPhone support the same settings?

No. Camera formats, frame rates, ISO and exposure limits vary. Flight43 displays the supported hardware options. High-speed analysis requires a supported rear-camera format of at least 120 fps; iOS 17 alone does not establish camera compatibility.

Which softball and pitching distance are supported?

The current app is designed for 43 feet and nominal 12-inch-circumference softballs. It is not configured for baseballs,11-inch softballs or other pitching distances.

Does the ball need marks?

Both standard-seam and marked-ball options are available. Visible asymmetric marks can supply additional tracking features. Surface tracking still depends on exposure, detail, rotation and the view of the ball.

Is movement-based spin the same as measured total RPM?

No. A Magnus-based inference estimates transverse spin from modeled movement. It cannot by itself recover total spin or gyrospin. Surface tracking uses visible rotation evidence and is reported separately.

Why is there no result for a pitch?

Occlusion, blur, too few visible frames, incorrect calibration, weak surface detail or an inconsistent flight fit may prevent an analysis. Review the frames and camera placement. The app does not insert sample values when a measurement is unavailable.

How do I reduce motion blur?

Use the app’s short fixed exposure setting with a supported high-speed format, then adjust ISO for the actual light. Full sun is the starting environment. A very short exposure can make the ball too dark, so inspect real frames before recording the session.

Will the radar confuse the return throw with the pitch?

Matching considers notification delay, plausible pitch timing and a slower return throw. The selected reading can be reviewed. Closely spaced pitches, radar placement or multiple strong readings can still require your selection.

Which radar devices work?

Flight43 includes a specific Bluetooth notification integration and is not a universal radar receiver. Start listening in Flight43 before beginning a new session in the radar’s companion app. Contact support with the exact model before relying on compatibility.

Does Flight43 upload my videos?

The native app processes and stores captures locally. It has no app-operated video upload service. A file you choose to export, a support attachment or an iPhone backup follows the rules of that destination.

Can I use it without an account?

The current native app has no Flight43 account or sign-in. Future subscriptions will be handled through your Apple account.

How do I cancel a future subscription?

After subscriptions launch, manage or cancel them in your Apple account’s subscription settings. Deleting the app will not cancel a subscription. See Apple’s cancellation instructions.

Accessibility

Flight43 is being developed for a landscape iPhone interface with labeled controls and system accessibility support. We have not yet completed a full accessibility audit and do not claim specific App Store Accessibility Nutrition Label features.

If a control, chart, contrast level or gesture prevents you from using the app or website, email hello@pitchcall.app. Tell us which screen, accessibility setting and iPhone model you use so the issue can be reproduced.

Privacy and files

You can delete local pitch files in Library and change Camera or Bluetooth access in iPhone Settings. For detailed retention, backup and export information, see your privacy choices.
